Tablets such as iPads and Android devices can make learning more effective (and more fun) but at the same time it can be dificult to add them to existing resources. The notes here are designed to help in this.
The appearance of new credit card sized computers such as the Raspberry Pi and the Arduino offer excellent opportunities for learning to code and get to grips with Physical Computing (or electronics as we used to call it). Each of these devices has a preferred language and it can be difficult to see ‘what can work with what’. The Coding section looks at the various language and hardware combinations that can be used.
